Welcome to HiveSpace. By accessing or using our GitLab Runner Dashboard service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the HiveSpace dashboard, or using any of our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- You have the authority to enter into this agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- All information you provide is accurate and up-to-date
2. Description of Service
HiveSpace provides a dashboard for monitoring GitLab CI/CD runner health, job queues, and pipeline performance. Our Service includes:
- Real-time monitoring of GitLab runners and job status
- Analytics and reporting for queue times, runner utilization, and job history
- Alerts and notifications for stuck jobs and capacity issues
- Bug reporting tools to help improve the Service
3. Beta Access Program
During the beta period (estimated 3-6 months):
- The Service is provided free of charge to early access users
- Features may change, be added, or removed without notice
- Service availability is not guaranteed (no SLA)
- Beta participants receive a 50% lifetime discount on Pro tier pricing after launch
- We may request feedback and bug reports to improve the Service
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
You must provide:
- A valid email address
- Accurate information about your organization and use case
- A secure access token (provided by HiveSpace)
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your HiveSpace access token
- All activities that occur under your account
- Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access at legal@hivespace.io
4.3 GitLab Credentials
Your GitLab Personal Access Tokens (PATs) are never sent to HiveSpace servers. They remain stored locally in your browser and are only used to communicate directly with your GitLab instance. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without written permission
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
- Impersonate another person or entity
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Rights
HiveSpace retains all rights, title, and interest in:
- The Service, including all software, designs, and documentation
- Trademarks, logos, and branding ("HiveSpace", "HS" logo)
- Aggregated and anonymized usage analytics
6.2 Your Rights
You retain all rights to:
- Your GitLab data, configurations, and CI/CD pipelines
- Feedback and suggestions you provide (though we may use them to improve the Service)
7. Data Collection and Privacy
We collect limited data to provide and improve the Service:
- Account data: Email, organization size, GitLab setup type
- Usage analytics: Page views, feature usage, session duration (via analytics tools)
- Bug reports: Optional screenshots and error logs you submit
- Settings: Demo mode preference, onboarding tour completion status

8. Third-Party Services
HiveSpace integrates with:
- GitLab: You must have a valid GitLab account (SaaS or self-hosted)
- Analytics providers: To track usage and improve the Service
- Email delivery: AWS SES for sending access tokens and notifications
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
9. Service Availability and Changes
9.1 Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
- Emergency repairs or security updates
- Factors beyond our control (hosting provider outages, network issues)
9.2 Changes to Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes.
10. Fees and Payment
10.1 Beta Period
During beta, the Service is free. No credit card required.
10.2 Post-Beta Pricing
After beta ends:
- Free Tier: 2 runners, 7-day history, forever free
- Pro Tier: $49/month for beta participants (50% lifetime discount from $99/month regular price)
Prices may change for new customers, but your locked-in rate will not increase without 30 days' notice.
10.3 Refunds
Paid subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of initial purchase. No refunds for renewals.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting legal@hivespace.io. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your account has been inactive for 12+ months
- We are required to do so by law
- Continuing service poses a security or legal risk
We will provide 7 days' notice when possible, except for immediate threats.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
12.1 No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- HiveSpace is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months (or $100 if using the free tier)
- We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, or lost profits
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiveSpace from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through:

- Binding arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Canadian law
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Miscellaneous
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HiveSpace.
17.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
17.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
17.4 Assignment
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor or affiliate.
